Sustainable responsibility - DANDY Business Park

Sustainable responsibility

In our world, we take responsibility

At DANDY Business Park, responsibility is not just an ambition - it's part of our DNA. We know that sustainability is a journey without a destination. No organization is 100% sustainable, and we are no exception. But we are determined to take responsibility and help minimize our environmental impact.

As part of the Bagger-Sørensen Group, we follow a clear ESG strategy that helps us reduce our CO₂ emissions and promote responsible solutions. At DANDY Business Park, we see sustainability as a natural part of our everyday life. We are committed to creating a framework that makes a real difference for the environment and for our tenants. Our approach is rooted in concrete actions that ensure we live up to our responsibilities in a credible and transparent way.

DGNB Gold certification on buildings*

Our existing buildings meet the DGNB Gold standard for buildings in operation, ensuring they meet high standards of sustainable operation and maintenance. From 2025 onwards, our new buildings will receive DGNB Gold for new construction. This certification focuses on environmental, economic and social sustainability and ensures that the building is designed to have a minimal environmental impact throughout its lifecycle.

Energy efficiency and optimization

We reduce energy waste by storing surplus heat from our heat pumps in the ground and reusing it via geothermal pipes. At the same time, we optimize energy consumption with solutions like Leanheat and motion sensors to avoid unnecessary consumption in empty rooms. All power in the park is also supplied on green certificates from 100% wind energy.

Events with responsibility

When you attend a meeting or conference with us, you become part of our efforts to create events that care for both people and the environment. We actively work to reduce our carbon footprint by using technology as a replacement for paper. For example, we use digital presentation solutions such as flip screens and interactive meeting screens that make it possible to replace paper-based materials.

Focus on consumption and waste

Responsibility at DANDY Business Park means less waste and better sorting. We encourage guests to sort waste and are planning more recycling options by 2025. Staff and tenants already sort into up to nine fractions, and we minimize waste by avoiding waste-generating merchandise at conferences and events.
